The highlight of Westenhanger Vintage car Auctioneers July 2015 sale was this stunning V12 2 + 2 series 3 E-Type Jaguar in Royal Blue. Having been owned by the client for the past 25 years and only covering under 50,000 miles from new this lot was sure to attract a huge amount of interest.
After a lengthy bidding frenzy between three phone bidders and bidding in the room the car sold to a collector for £37,000. The owner was extremely pleased with the result, speaking after the sale To the BBC he said "I'm so thrilled that the car has gone to someone who will get as much enjoyment from it as I have over the past two and a half decades.
