House Clearance Service 

Costs are £40 per hour , we use a sub contractor for this servce but payment can be made from the estates proceeds

Clearing a property can be an exhausting and stressful experience. We can provide valuations for auction followed by a full house clearance. It can be surprising what items are saleable and having a valuer visit the premises to list the items of value allows family members and interested parties to make decisions about what items to sell or keep. Once items have been taken or consigned for auction we are able to offer a full clearance service leaving the property empty, swept and hovered and ready for estate agents or the next occupants.

Sellers Commission is 15 % of the hammer price. 
Commission rates negotiated for higher value lots. 
Our minimum lottage charge is £5.00 per lot, sold, or unsold.

Insurance optional @ 1.5% of hammer price

HOUSE CLEARANCE DETAILS 

WE have now put in place a system which I hope will put an end to any mistake and give the clearance team clear instructions on what tasks need to be done at any  clearances.
                      
We have printed a form (to be completed in duplicate, one for the clearance team and one for the client) that informs the team of all the tasks that need to be undertaken before we can inform our clients that the clearance has been completed. This includes a section to ensure all out buildings, loft areas,and any other parts of the site are not missed. This form must be signed by  the transport team and the client before an invoice can be raised.
                       


  • We have also included a section that will inform the clearance team of the need to remove any electrical/gas appliances. 
You will be pleased to know we now have a competent person on the clearance team that can complete these tasks.
  •                        As a final safeguard the clearance team have been given a digital camera and every room, loft space,garage and out building will be photographed at the end of the clearance. These photos will be included with the new form and sent to the client with the invoice. This we hope will give you a complete overview of the clearance and all the tasks have been completed to yours and your clients satisfaction. This will also give your clients a better understanding of the tasks completed and will highlight any problems before they reach this late stage.
                  Rest assured that this system will be strictly enforced and mistakes and oversights from our clearance team are a thing of the past.
